GDC Online 2012 opens call for submissions

The tenth annual GDC Online returns to Austin, Texas October 9-11 this year, and today issued a call for speakers.

GDC online focuses on ‘connected’ games, from free-to play web games and social titles to blockbuster MMOs.

Submissions should deal with pressing issues in online games, and be relevant to one of the following tracks: business and marketing, design, customer experience, production and programming.

Submissions are also open for the standalone summits, which include a return of the Game Narrative Summit and the Smartphone & Tablet Games Summit, as well as two new summits, the Game Dev Start-Up Summit and the GDC Gamification Summit.

The deadline for all submissions closes on May 2.
