San Francisco conference could see several high profile games debut

GDC09: God of War 3 and Brutal Legend to star

Several high profile unreleased games are to be the subject of seminars at the Game Developer Conference 2009 in San Francisco.

The ‘Robotic Testing to the Rescue’ seminar hosted by Double Fine’s lead simulation programmer Paul Du Bois promises that attendees will learn about the design of the automated testing framework used for Brutal Legend. Meanwhile, the programming presentation titled ‘Practical SPU Usage in God of War 3’ should shed some light on Sony’s anticipated sequel.

Elsewhere at the event in March, seminars are to focus on Mass Effect and BioWare’s future plans, which could lead to more information on Mass Effect 2. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves also looks set to feature, as several presentations chaired by Naughty dog cover the first Uncharted game.
