Gina Jackson appointed head of games at The Imaginarium Studios

Gina Jackson has been appointed head of games at UK production company The Imaginarium Studios.

The newly created role will see the company bringing its expertise in performance capture, VFX and real-time animation to the games industry.

Jackson was previously managing director at NextGen Skills Academy, where she worked for two years, and she continues to be a visiting professor in games industry and business at Norwich University of the Arts. She has also worked for the likes of Nokia, Eidos, Kuju and Ocean Software.

Jackson commented, "I’m excited about the challenge ahead of me and looking forward to working with developers with one aim, bringing the art of storytelling into games. The experience and facilities at The Imaginarium make them uniquely suited to succeed in this sector."
