Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas mobile release arrives next month

Rockstar’s 2004 Grand Theft Auto release San Andreas is heading to mobile devices in December, the studio has announced.

The updated version packs newly remastered graphics, an enriched color palette, enhanced character/car models, and more. It will launch on select iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, and Kindle devices – packing both touch controls and full controller support.

No price tag was mentioned for the game, and Rockstar did not confirm a specific release date beyond sometime next month.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was originally developed by Rockstar North for PlayStation 2, and later saw a digital release on PC, PSN, and Xbox Live.
