GTA V update causing headache for some PS4 players

There’s yet more technical bad news afoot for Sony’s PS4.

Eurogamer reports that an increasing number of Grand Theft Auto V owners are claiming to have encountered problems when trying to download the game’s 1.14GB day one patch.

Some say they are unable to get the patch to download at all, while others get part of the way before receiving an error code (CE-32937-4). Worse still, other gamers have even said they were booted out of their current game and prompted to install the update – which then doesn’t work.

This isn’t the first reported problem with the next-gen version of GTA V. Rockstar earlier said it is working on problems concerning the ability to transfer GTA Online progress from the last-gen version.

Note that the patch isn’t required to play the game, although features such as the aforementioned save transfer aren’t available without it.

The bigger concern will be for Sony, however, which is still attempting to deal with its ongoing Driveclub problems and remains haunted by significant issues caused by the recent v2.00 PS4 firmware update and various complaints with SingStar Ultimate Party.
