Havok’s free new mobile game engine Project Anarchy has left beta and has been officially launched.
The full release of the end-to-end development platform includes a free version of Autodesk’s user interface tool Scaleform and full support for the mobile Tizen OS.
Other features include a new packaging tool for app data management and expanded rapid prototyping capabilities through Lua binding extensions and vScene Viewer support.
A new PC exporter upgrade is also being developed for the engine, which will be released early next year for $499.
“We are thrilled to take Project Anarchy out of beta with this release,” said Havok head of developer relations Ross O’Dwyer.
“Since making the beta available this summer, we’ve been listening to the users and working to expand our offering, not only with the features, but also the business models the community has asked for. With the accelerated prototyping and powerful UI experiences offered by this first full Project Anarchy release, we’re looking forward to even more developers coming on board and creating anarchy with us.”
