Smite developer creates 30 new job vacancies

Hi-Rez Studios invests $10m in expansion efforts

US online game developer Hi-Rez Studios has invested $10 million to expand its operations at its Georgia base.

The studio has opened 30 new job vacancies and is looking for software developers, digital artists, game testers and customer support technicians to join the team.

Its Georgia office meanwhile will be expanded by 4,000 square feet. Hi-Rez hopes to employ more than 100 staff in total at the studio by 2015.

“Digital gaming requires technical talent, creative talent, and an entrepreneurial climate,” said Hi-Rez Studios COO Todd Harris.

“We have experienced continued growth in Georgia, thanks to a great talent pool, high quality of life and low cost of doing business.”

Hi-Rez Studios is currently working on online multiplayer game Smite and has also previously developed titles such as Tribes Ascenda and Global Agenda.
