IGN offers more US office space for indies

Another five independent game studios have the chance to win office space, technology and consultant assistance as part of an ongoing IGN initiative.

IGN subsidiary GameSpy Technology is to select five independent studios as part of its Indie Open House, a scheme to help developers execute on their dream projects.

GameSpy kicked off its Indie Open House scheme in January, providing office space and support for developers Team Ethereal, Cryptic Sea, Evanatiks, Interabang Entertainment and Runt.

Three of those studios now have playable builds of games and are seeking publishing deals.

The GameSpy office space is located in San Francisco.
