Key figures from the independent development sector will be flocking to Newcastle on September 14th to discuss the road ahead at the next Codeworks GameHorizon event.

Indie game devs head North

Designed to help indie devs step up their game, the event will be held at the Life Conference Centre in Newcastle and will feature industry heavyweights like Develop Award winner Charles Cecil and TIGA’s Fred Hasson.

“After emerging from a rough few years, the UK games industry is on an upward cycle,” said Carri Cunliffe, project manager for Codeworks GameHorizon. “It’s an exciting time with huge opportunities on the horizon for developers. In the absence of a crystal ball, our event will give GameHorizon and TIGA members the chance to consider appropriate strategies to ensure they take full advantage of the opportunities in front of them – so they can secure their continued growth and prosperity.”
