Superfan to enable users to 'virtually follow bands as they tour the world' through games and leaderboards

Inensu partners with Polydor for social fan app

Social games studio Inensu has partnered with record label Polydor to develop a social fan app to allow users to follow bands on tour through the Facebook app and on their mobile.

Superfan enables users to “virtually travel around the world” with their chosen band, who can compete on leaderboards with other fans through band-specific games and trivia.

The app is currently used to follow US pop group Mindless Behavior as they tour North America and the UK.

“Being a fan is a passionate activity that is social and competitive,” said Inensu director Paulina Bozek.

“We are very excited to team up with Mindless Behavior to create a new kind of online entertainment platform for their fans that combines social, games, location and the passion of being a fan.”
