New office to house 50 staff

InnoGames opening new studio in Dusseldorf

Browser and mobile game developer InnoGames is opening a new studio in Dusseldorf, Germany.

The new office will eventually employ up to 50 staff. InnoGames already houses 350 employees at its headquarters in Hamburg.

The news comes as the developer reported better than expected turnover in 2014 thanks to its mobile operations. The release of Forge of Empires on iPad attracted 1.5 million downloads in the first three months.

“For further growth, we need a number of highly skilled people across all departments. And it gets more and more complicated to find them in Hamburg alone,” said InnoGames CEO Hendrik Klindworth.

“Dusseldorf is a very promising location with lots of potential for the job market.”
