Episode available now, discusses the state of UK games development and more

Jo Twist guest stars in second MCV & Develop Podcast

The MCV & Develop Podcast is back – this time taking a closer look at the UK games industry.

On our second episode, we discuss the recent spate of studio triple-A studio closures to hit the UK, the BAFTA awards and their role in the industry, and why the video games community needs more support from both the Government and major non-games firms such as the BBC.

Develop editor James Batchelor and MCV editor Chris Dring are joined by Dr Jo Twist, industry veteran and head of games trade body UKIE.

If you haven’t already, check out our debut episode and GDC special with VR expert Dr Dave Ranyard.

You can listen to the episode below, or download it for later. Alternatively you can find it on iTunes, Stitcher, Pocket Casts and Player FM. A YouTube version should be available later today.
