Lost and the Damned sets XBL record

Xbox 360 platform holder Microsoft has said that Rockstar’s The Lost and the Damned, a platform exclusive downloadable expansion for Grand Theft Auto IV, has broken previous revenue records for Xbox Live.

Kotaku quotes the firm as stating that the DLC has eclipsed first-day revenue for all previous downloadable content on Xbox Live”, though details of quite how many sales were seen in the first 24 hours have not yet been released.

Rockstar will release additional DLC for GTA IV exclusive on Xbox 360 later this year.
