Montreal game development conference will open Jonathan Blow keynote and expo to enthusiasts

MIGS opens to the public

The Montreal International Game Summit has added several events aimed at the general public to its line-up.

The doors to the exhibition zone will be open to all from 3pm to 7pm on Wednesday November 19th, enabling game enthusiasts to meet with representatives from Quebec’s game studios and discuss job openings. They will also be able to attend Braid developer Jonathan Blow’s closing keynote and the ‘concept art’ exhibition showcasing the creativity of local studios.

The Summit’s closing party, called Gamma, will be open to the public as well, letting them play games from independent developers picked as part of a competition.

The Montreal International Game Summit is taking place today and tomorrow at the Palais des congres in Montreal, Quebec.
