Indie PC hit to get the official iOS treatment, creator Markus Persson reveals

Mojang to bring Minecraft to iPhone

Having emerged as one of the biggest indie games success of 2010, PC hit Minecraft is getting an official port to Apple’s iOS devices such as the iPhone and iPad.

The confirmation comes direct from the game’s creator Markus Persson.

Gamasutra reports that the port is being handled by Aron Neiminen who recently joined Persson’s studio Mojang.
