Event's director names Heroes exec producer and Radical devs as latest to host sessions

Moledina reveals more GDC speakers

To kick off his new Director’s Cut blog offering updates and thoughts on the plans for next year’s GDC, the event’s executive director Jamil Moledina has revealed that Heroes’ executive producer Jesse Alexander and reps from Canadian outfit Radical are the latest confirmed speakers.

Heroes has stormed TV on both sides of the Atlantic, and according to Moledina, the show’s production is informed by game development processes.

Alexander will host a talk called ‘How Heroes Are Made: A Collaborative Approach to Serialized Content in a Transmedia World‘.

Explained Moledina: "Transmedia is an important growing trend between Hollywood and games, when Jesse told me he uses game development processes in managing the writing on Heroes, that struck me as a process very much ahead of the curve, and worth greater elaboration."

Meanwhile, key team members from Radical’s new title Prototype, executive producer Tim Bennison and lead designer Eric Holmes, will be presenting the innovative design behind their brand new IP.

GDC runs from February 18th to 22nd in San Francisco, USA.

More information about GDC can be found at the official site.
