Game developers would rather work for Valve than for their own company, a new IGDA poll has found.
The latest International Game Developers Association’s annual Developer Satisfaction Survey shows that Valve topped a list of several work destinations, including the runner-up selection of “my own company.”
The survey polled 2,200 individual devs earlier this year, asking which publisher or developer is the most desirable to work for.
Other companies to make the top ten list include Double Fine, BioWare and Naughty Dog – along with some larger publishers such as Activision Blizzard, Ubisoft and Nintendo. Here’s the full list:
- Valve
- My own company
- Activision Blizzard
- BioWare
- Ubisoft
- Current employer
- Nintendo
- Naughty Dog
- Double Fine
