Call opened for speakers at November event

NASSCOM Game Developer Conference moves to Hyderabad

Indian development conference and expo NASSCOM is moving its home to Hyderabad.

This year’s event, which runs from November 10th to 12th, will take place in the city’s International Convention Centre.

More than 1,100 attendees are expected, alongside 80 speakers talking across subjects including indies, game design, publishing and advertising, game art, and technology.

Two new topics, production and serious games, also join the line-up.

NASSCOM’s hosts have opened up applications for additional speakers, with submissions open until July 30th.

The NASSCOM Gaming Forum Awards 2016 will also take place during the three-day show.

“We are incredibly excited to announce that the NGDC 2016, the biggest gathering of Indian games development and business talent, will be taking place at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, one of the best venues in the country”, said NASSCOM Gaming Forum chairman Rajesh Rao.

“With the support of the Government of Telangana, the new venue has allowed us to expand the conference with two new speaker tracks, a dedicated virtual reality pavilion and a new expanded expo floor with country pavilions.”
