Ant Games to release multiformat titles over the coming years

New games publisher emerges

A brand new UK games publisher will launch its first title in a matter of weeks.

Oxford-based Ant Games will release titles across all genres and formats – including Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC, DS and PSP – at both retail and digital avenues.

Post-apocalyptic PC MMO Fallen Earth will be ANT Games’ first title, hitting retail later this month. The subscription-based computer game has been well received in the US since its original release last September.

Ant Games is headed by former UK Microprose MD Stewart Bell, who previously worked with Bill Stealey to establish Microprose. The pair has struck a new deal which will see Stealey’s new titles released on PC and Mac via Ant Games this year.

A spokesperson for ANT Games said the publisher has a range of titles scheduled for release over the coming years, including a host of licensed products.
