New Havok deal supports Windows Phone 8

Havok has secured a deal with Microsoft that will see the tools outfit provide tech for developers of products for the Windows Phone 8.

The news came during a keynote session at Microsoft’s Windows Phone Summit, when Havok’s head of product management joined Microsoft’s Kevin Gallo, GM of developer platform on stage, as the two discussed how Havok would support mobile developers.

The partnership will see the full Havok technology suite available to Windows Phone 8 developers.
