Marc Fascia's coding skills are 'insane', says new employer

Ninja Theory lead coder joins Splash Damage

London group Splash Damage has appointed Marc Fascia as technical director, the company announced today.

Fascia joined the Brink developer from Cambridge outfit Ninja Theory, where he helped build the Develop Award winning game, Enslaved.

Splash Damage will have Fascia oversee all engineering teams at the studio, as well as support director of production Griff Jenkins.

Splash Damage CEO Paul Wedgwood described Fascia’s technical ability as “insane”.

“It’s Marc’s obsession with fun gameplay and his personable nature that makes him the perfect person to lead our army of awesome programmers,” Wedgwood added.

Last week Splash Damage appointed former EA executive Griff Jenkins as director of production.

Jenkins’s tenure at Electronic Arts saw him foster major franchises at the publisher, from FIFA to Need for Speed. He has also worked at UK groups Criterion, Kuju and Eidos.
