Ninja Theory working on second secret title

UK studio Ninja theory has spread its resources to work on an entirely new project while also developing the upcoming action title Enslaved.

Ninja Theory – developers of PS3 debut title Heavenly Sword – said in a recent 1Up podcast that the studio is in “pre-production on a new secret project”.

Studio co-founder Tameem Antoniades teasingly revealed that the title was going to be a full retail title for home consoles or PC.

“It’s a full scale, pretty big project. It’s still top secret, but it’s going to be awesome, obviously,” he said.

Ninja Theory’s other project, Enslaved, is being built for PS3 and 360.

The game’s narrative and dialogue will be crafted by Alex Garland, author of The Tesseract and The Beach, and a self-confessed game addict.

The new project will also be enriched with the versatile talents of prized actor/director/Gollum Andy Serkis, who will direct the game as well as portray the lead character of Monkey.
