10-month course to 'communicate the depth and joy of game creation'

Nintendo opens Game Seminar 2008

Nintendo has announced the dates of its Nintendo Games Seminar 2008, to take place from the end of June 2008 until the beginning of March 2009, reports Famitsu.

The ten-month long course, designed for students, is split into four categories: Programming, Graphics, Sound and Director. It also gives attendees the chance to see lectures from Nintendo staff and gain actual experience of developing DS titles in a team.

The course is free, and currently accepting applications – although you will need to be a pre- or post-graduate student, and they’re unlikely to accept anyone outside of Japan. If you still fancy taking a punt, check out the application form here.
