Studio to help others with marketing, PR, QA and localisation

Nomad Games enters indie publishing

Talisman: Digital Edition developer Nomad Games is expanding into game publishing.

The studio, run by former Juice Games and THQ execs, is offering its services to small, niche third-party studios working on tabletop games.

The firm will help bring studios to market as well as providing PR, marketing, localisation and QA services. Nomad will also continue working on its own projects.

“Nomad Games is, itself, a niche developer which means we fully understand the opportunities – but also the pitfalls – of self-publishing,” said co-founder Don Whiteford.

“However, many of us also boast many years of working for, or with, major international multi-format games companies, such as Acclaim, Psygnosis, Rage Software and THQ. So we’re confident that our wealth of experience at both ends of the publishing spectrum will prove invaluable to third-party studios who are looking for assistance taking their products to market.”
