Swedish mocap and animation studio now working with Remedy, Starbreeze, EA DICE and IO Interactive

Northern Light becomes Imagination Studios

Swedish motion capture and animation company Northern Light has been rebranded as Imagination Studios.

The company has been growing of late despite the economic downturn, having worked on titles such as World in Conflict, Battlefield: Bad Company and Mirror’s Edge, and is currently working on titles for Starbreeze, Remedy, EA DICE and IO Interactive.

“Following a row of new partnerships and developments we felt the need to change our name to reflect the company’s goals and vision,” said Imagination Studios CEO John Klepper.

“We cannot reveal titles yet but the current projects we’re working on are packed with action and imagination! We are delighted and grateful for the outstanding testimonials we’ve received from our existing clients, and look forward to new adventures with future clients.”
