Path-finding middleware sees speed improvements

PathEngine hits version 5.14

PathEngine has released version 5.14 of its path-finding middleware.

At the forefront of the upgrade is a huge range of speed increases, including an estimated 20% speedup in path-finding preprocess generation, a 15 per cent boost in collision preprocess generation and run-time pathfinding, and an over 15 per cent increase in path-finding around dynamic obstacles.

PathEngine also says that there are some ‘quite important’ bug fixes in 3D content processing, and recommends that users involved with content processing should apply the update.
