New version boasts performance improvements

Perforce Software has announced that its Software Configuration Management system has been updated to version 2007.2

The latest version of the Perforce Server includes ‘dramatic performance improvements,’ with further capabilities added to the Perforce Visual Client and Web Client.

"Continually improving performance is central to our ongoing strategy," said Christopher Seiwald, founder and CTO of Perforce Software.

"We are committed to creating an SCM system that enables seamless collaboration for thousands of users regardless of their location."

A 45-day trial of Perforce 2007.2 can be evaluated at the official website.
