PS3 title is the fruit of an ongoing relationship between Dutch outfit and SCEE

Playlogic co-developing SCEEâ??s EyePet

Publisher and developer Playlogic has confirmed that it’s co-handling development duties on Sony Europe’s upcoming PS3 title EyePet, representing a continuation of the recently successful relationship between the two.

Playlogic Game Factory has recently finished work on PS2 title EyeToy Pom Pom, which is due for release before the end of the year. Other titles to emerge from the partnership between the pair include downloadable PSN trio Aqua Vita, Tori Emaki and Mesmerize.

“We are proud to continue our development work for SCEE,” Playlogic’s Rogier W. Smit stated. “The technology and skills provided by our employees have enabled us to deliver quality and deliver on time. We are very pleased with this enduring collaboration on current and future projects.”

EyePet is the latest PS3 to utilise the console’s PSEye add-on, and offers gamers the chance to physically interact with an on-screen creature. Furthermore, the digital critter will interact with objects placed in his field of vision.
