ProFX wins Deutsche Telekom award

Allegorithmic’s ProFX has taken home an award at the Deutsche Telekom Digital Entertainment Awards.

The procedural texturing middleware was named Best New Technology in Effects and Animation, a category that awards innovation in areas linked to effects and animation such as facial and character animation, procedural techniques, rendering and lighting.

The inaugral awards ceremony, which took place at the fmx/08 event, seeks to recognise new concepts and cutting-edge developments in the digital entertainment sphere.
