Dave Grossman will take up the role of chief creative officer at mobile studio

Reactive Studios hires Telltale, LucasArts veteran

Mobile games developer Reactive Studios has recruited Dave Grossman as its new chief creative officer.

Grossman leaves his position at Telltale Games after nine years, where he worked on such hits as The Walking Dead, according GamesBeat.

Prior to his time at Telltale, he worked at LucasArts on The Secret of Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle.

In his new role, Grossman will focus on interative audio, helping to develop a platform for voice-operated audio dramas. Reactive Studios has already released multiple games with speech recognition as a control input.

"I’m looking forward to exploring the uncharted waters of interactive audio and establishing principles for a new storytelling medium," he said in a statement. "The narrative design challenges are unique and intriguing, and there’s a lot of fun to be had here, for me and the audience both."
