UK IT distributors VIP Computers and Realtime Distribution have announced that they are to combine their business operations.
The company will berebranded as VIP Computers and will continue to operate from its existingWarrington andHuntingdon offices.VIP Computers is one of the UK’s largestindependent distributors of components, peripherals and consumer products, while sister company Realtime Distribution is more focused on gaming components and peripherals.
VIP bought Realtime Distribution back in 2006, and the two companies have operated independently until now.
The directors of both companies reached the decision to merge after assessing current market conditions and future opportunities for the brands.
