Develop has today published a look at whether now is the best time to begin looking for a new job.

As part of series of articles on the current employment landscape, we’ve spoken to some of the key games recruitment agencies.

Stig Strand, head of games recruitment at Amiqus, is optimistic about the current climate, and suggests that there are still “a large number of companies that are pushing forward with their internally developed projects and IP, and as a result their games development teams still need to be bolstered with the right people.

“This means more programmers, artists, designers and producers are all still in demand going into 2009 – although to a lesser extent than last year.”
