Report: Street Cricket developer Trine Entertainment planning IPO

Mumbai-based Trine Entertainment is planning to go public with an IPO, reports have suggested.

The company plans to raise Rs 5.75 crore through 38.32 lakh shares to fund its foray into online games and onto new platforms like smartphones and tablets, DSIJ has reported.

Trine’s most recent work has been in partnership with Sony on PlayStation platforms, having released games from the Street Cricket series on PS2, PSP and PS3 as well as a PS2/PS3 game based on Bollywood film Ra.One.

The company reportedlyplans to invest in acquiring new hardware and software. It also plans to self-publish its next project, a mobile social game that is expected to cost Rs 1.5 crore to develop.
