Sam & Max coming to Wii

Point-and-click adventure Same and Max is coming to Nintendo Wii in North America and across Europe this Autumn.

Telltale Games has announced that brining the first episode of six of the popular franchise to the console will ‘extend episodic gaming to new audiences and platforms’.

The title will be released as part of a partnership between JoWood/DreamCatcher and Telltale.

The move was inspired by an email campaign by fans calling for the title to be brought to Wii.

Sam & Max Season One has previously been named Adventure Game of the Year from GameSpy and IGN, and was included on Games for Windows’ list of Top 10 Games in 2007.

In addition to the English language version, the game will be fully localized in French and German, and subtitled in Italian and Spanish.
