Search For A Star documentary series coming soon

As part of a collaboration with games industry recruiters Aardvark Swift and Grads In Games we’ve been working on a documentary series showing a behind-the-scenes look at this year’s Search For A Star competition. It’s a fantastic opportunity for final-year students to get a headstart in the industry and to secure their first job at several of the UK’s largest and best studios.

The documentary series follows eight Search For A Star hopefuls as they make their way through the competition’s gautlet. Their technical skills will be challenged and the best will make it through to the Interview From Hell. Think The Apprentice meets Dragon’s Den with a heavy emphasis on games and game development.

Check out the trailer below to get a taste of what the competition is like, and look forward to our four half-hour episodes which we’ll be releasing here on Develop over the coming weeks. Think you’ve got what it takes? Applications are now open for Search For A Star 2017. Good luck!
