X-Men: Destiny entrusted to Canada-based Too Human studio

Silicon Knights developing Activision X-Men title

Following the recent revealing of new X-Men title X-Men: Destiny, publisher Activision yesterday confirmed that Canadian studio Silicon Knights will be developing the game.

Attendees to the New York Comic-Con, finishing this Sunday, will be able to see part of the title in Activision’s booth at the event. It has been given a tentative release date of autumn 2011.

Silicon Knight’s involvement comes after the studio received a grant for around $4m from the Canadian government in April this year. That funding was for a new multi-platform title for release within five years.
