Skyrim mods begin as Creation Kit arrives

Modders eager for the Skyrim Creation Kit got an extra treat today, with high resolution textures for the PC and a mod co-created by Valve and Bethesda being slipped in alongside the highly anticipated modding toolset.

Bethesda games have always been a favorite of the modding community, and this release serves to draw even more attention to what is for many the core draw of Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls series.

The joint effort of Valve and Bethesda, "Fall of the Space Core vol 1." is the first mod to appear on the Skyrim Steam workshop, which will soon be flooded with user created mods made with the Creation Kit.
