Smite and Tribes dev Hi-Rez opens new European HQ in Brighton

Hi-Rez Studios, the outlet behind MOBA Smite and FPS Tribes: Ascend, has expanded its reach to Europe with a new UK office.

The Brighton-based location will serve as a HQ for the developer’s European operations and will be lead by former Warner Bros exec Veronique Lallier, who joins as VP of European publishing.

Hi-Rez’s core development will continue to be handled in its US home of Atlanta.

“Fueled by the continued rapid growth of Smite, our European community has expanded tremendously over the past year,” said COO Todd Harris.

“Hi-Rez prides itself in being a highly community-oriented company, and this move will allow us to much better serve our European players, across Smite as well as our other games.”

Hi-Rez is currently hiring for further open positions in the Brighton office.
