Sony makes Personal 3D Viewer headset available for pre-order

Sony has mades its portable head-mounted display, the HMZ-T3W, available for pre-order.

The Personal 3D Viewer is completely wireless, and features twin LED screens with a virtual 750-inch screen. Sony also claims the headset does not suffer from on-screen image lag.

The tech also includes 7.1 channel surround sound, and is also able to play films and games in 3D, where applicable.

Sony’s headset is compatible with PC, mobile, tablet and consoles.

The Sony Personal 3D Viewer is currently available for pre-orders in the US at a cost of $999.
