Sonyâ??s Hirai to keynote TGS

Sony Computer Entertainment chairman Kaz Hirai is to keynote the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.

Hirai’s address is entitled ‘New Tactics for 2009’, where the CEO will have an opportunity to discuss the new directions Sony is taking its home console (soon to feature ‘true’ motion control), and new PSPgo handheld. 



The Tokyo Game Show has in recent years been the stage for key turning points in gaming; significant announcements that reverberate throughout the games industry. It was the event where Nintendo president Satoru Iwata first raised the Wii’s remote. 



The event takes place at he Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba, Japan, beginning from Sep 24-27.
