Vancouver-based studio effects temporary redundancies

Staff cuts at Slant Six

SOCOM studio Slant Six has announced the “temporary” redundancies of an undisclosed number of its employees. The studio released their latest title SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 in February.

Speaking to Gamespot, Slant Six MD Brian Thalken said that the action was taken because the company’s projects did not “align with our current staffing levels”.

He went on to say that he hopes to bring back “as many of these staff members as possible” when worked picked up on future projects. Laid off staff have been promised extended studio benefits.

No future Slant Six projects have been announced.
