Crows Crows Crows to release its debut game soon

Stanley Parable designer opens new studio

A new studio has been founded by one of the core members of the team behind acclaimed indie hit The Stanley Parable.

William Pugh has set up his own development house, Crows Crows Crows, and is already hard at work on his first game.

Other members of the team include Dominik Johann, Jack de Quidt and Sean O’Down from Germany, the UK and Australia respectively, as well as “other talented and award-winning people”, according to the studio’s placeholder site.

Crows Crows Crows is inviting people to sign up to an email list for information on its debut title, which is “coming out very soon”. It will be available via Steam, Itch IO and Humble Bundle, according to symbols along the bottom of the page.

Oddly, the site says “Expected lifetime: 18 months” under the name of the studio. Given that the lifespan of crows varies from seven to 20 years old (we checked), it’s not clear whether this is planned as a short-term collaboration between the developers.
