Erin Roberts takes on extra duties following Alex Mayberry's departure

Star Citizen’s executive producer quits

Star Citizen executive producer Alex Mayberry has left Cloud Imperium Games.

As reported by Venturebeat, he is said to have quit the studio due to personal reasons. His duties have now been taken over by global head of production Erin Roberts, also the brother of studio founder Chris Roberts.

“Alex left Cloud Imperium Games last month for personal reasons,” said a spokesperson.

“Our global head of production is Erin Roberts, and a lot of Alex’s duties now fall into his jurisdiction. We were sorry that Alex had to leave the CIG family.”

Prior to joining Cloud Imperium in May last year, Mayberry had worked at Blizzard for ten years on World of Warcraft and Diablo III. He has also previously worked at Xatrix Entertainment and EA.
