Telltale doubles California studio size

Telltale games has signed a five-year lease on new office space totalling some 22,000 square feet.

The space, previously held by Autodesk, is located in San Rafael California, and nearly doubles the ammount of floor space previously held by the maker of story-based episodic titles like The Walking Dead.

“We’ve maxed out where we’re at,” Dan Connors, CEO and co-founder, told the North Bay Business Journal.

“Civic Center will give us the room we need to grow our team and take on more projects on a yearly basis.”

Telltale currently employ about 125 staff, but the new space will provide enough room for 160 employees, and the company is planning a hiring spree for 2013.
