Co-founder "frustrated by games that make him a mass murderer"

Telltale Games wants to make a James Bond game

The studio behind the acclaimed The Walking Dead has added another classic franchise to its wish list: James Bond.

In an interview with OXM, Telltale Games’ CTO and co-founder Kevin Bruner said he would love to make game based on Ian Fleming’s iconic secret agent.

"I’m a giant James Bond fan and I’m always frustrated by games that make him a mass murderer," he said.

"He’s a super-spy, and that’s a different skillet. The films make him less of a mass murderer, and there’s not much killing in the books – more spying and intrigue."

Telltale Games has already proven it can create compelling games without a focus on combat in its hugely popular Walking Dead series, which concentrates more on character relationships than zombie maiming.

Last year, the company announced it will be working on a Game of Thrones series, as well as a Borderlands spin-off – not forgetting The Walking Dead, of course.
