Independent games developer Traveller's Tales won the best UK development studio award at last night's MCV Awards.

Traveller’s Tales wins MCV Award

Run by Develop’s sister mag MCV, the awards acknowledge retailers, distributors and publishers in the UK games trade – and also singles out studios and new games brands for their efforts.

The win is just the latest in a line of awards for Traveller’s Tales. The Lego Star Wars game maker had previously won the Develop Awards’ Best Independent Developer award two years running, and its success – boosted over recent years by its work on the aforementioned movie/toy tie-in, has been fuelled by excellent sales of its games; the studio was the highest perfoming European company in our recently published 2007 edition of the Develop 100.
