Intel Developer Blog: We round-up some essential stocking fillers for games makers

Treat yourself this Christmas with some free dev tools

As you wind down this Christmas with a mince pie, why not treat yourself to some free gifts from the Intel Developer Zone that will get your new year off to a flying start.

If you’re interested in making cross-platform games, the Intel XDK provides an all-in-one HTML5 development environment that helps you to design, debug, build and deploy HTML5 and hybrid apps. The tool is available for free download, so why not give it a go?

Intel Integrated Native Developer Experience (Intel INDE) provides tools that support cross-platform and cross-IDE development for native code developers. If you’re creating performance-sensitive applications or games, Intel INDE provides a suite of media, context sensing, and debugging tools and libraries that can help. Until the end of January, you can get the Professional Edition (which includes four additional tools) for free.

Thank you for reading this blog during 2015, and have a fabulous Christmas!
