Develop Award nominated outsourcer on board for San Fran-themed sequel

Ubisoft signs Catalyst for Driver

Catalyst Outsourcing has secured a deal that will see it work with Ubisoft Reflections in providing its production services for Driver: San Francisco.

Nominated for a Develop Award in the services category at this year’s ceremony, Catalyst will be creating a large number of in-game art assets, including characters, vehicles and environments. Catalyst also provided on-site production and project management support.

“Catalyst delivered the highest production value solutions for many aspects of our development," said Gareth Edmondson, studio director at Ubisoft Reflections. "Senior team members were able to hand over the day-to-day operations of specific outsourcing tasks to Catalyst, giving them the freedom to focus on more important internal core game features.”

Ivan Davies, production director at Catalyst added: “It has been great working with Ubisoft Reflections , they are a team of highly skilled, professional and talented people. Their passion for the Driver franchise and vast knowledge of vehicles and driving games made it extremely easily working with our external Partners."
