UK studio Kuju turns 15 this month

One of Britain’s most successful games developers is celebrating an important milestone this month.

Kuju is now 15 years old and has, since its founding at the hands of Ian Baverstock and Jonathan Newth, released over 120 titles throughout its life. The studio has been involved in a number of hit IP including SingStar, Zumba, Microsoft Train Simulator and Art Academy.

Kuju is best known nowadays for its studios Zoe Mode and Headstrong Games. It is currently working on Xbox One title Powerstar Golf.

The UK games development industry has seen huge changes over the past fifteen years but Kuju has been integral to it throughout,” CEO Dominic Wheatley stated.

Fifteen years ago we were the new kid on the block but we’re now firmly part of the establishment. And we fully intend to continue making great British games so the story is only just beginning.”
