Casual Connect Europe: East to address growing casual space

Ukrainian casual games event unveiled

The Casual Games Association has unveiled a new event to be held this October in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Casual Connect Europe: East will address the rapidly expanding Eastern European casual games sector, which according to CGA grows at a rate of 20 per cent each month and grew by approximately 700 per cent between 2006 and 2007.

Representatives for major casual game portals will be available for meetings, backed up with a line-up of speakers including MumboJumbo CEO Mark Cottam and Jason Kapalka, chief creative officer of PopCap Games.

The event will be translated in both English and Russian, and takes place at the President Hotel in Kyiv from October 27th to 29th. More information can be found at the official website.
